The Organisation

Climateworks Centre is an expert, independent adviser, acting as a bridge between research and action to accelerate the transition to net zero emissions for Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. It also benefits from strong relationships with an international network of affiliated organisations that support effective policies, financing, and action for greenhouse gas emissions reductions.

The Opportunity

As a Program Designer at Climateworks you will provide a range of program design support functions to enable internal teams to successfully translate Climateworks Centre’s organisational strategy into impactful programs.

You will be supporting team leaders by acting as a key liaison point for timely advice on the development of program concepts and on the program design process. You will also provide program design support to assist in the planning, facilitation and coordination of program design activities to ensure effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

With your in-depth understanding of systems change, facilitation and theories of change, you will lead training and development activities for staff on program design and collaboration. You will also take responsibility for undertaking and applying best practice research on systems change and program design and use this to improve the program design process.

You will support the development and implementation of organisational-wide frameworks, processes and tools to enable efficient and effective program design and collaboration. The position will gather feedback from internal stakeholders and propose improvements to systems and processes to support program design, working closely with other internal teams to do so.
