About the organisation
At CBM Australia, our mission is to end the cycle of poverty and disability. Through our programs, technical advice, and advocacy, we help millions of people transform their lives each year. As Australia’s only international development organisation focused on disability inclusion our work improves the quality of life of people with disabilities living in the poorest countries.
Partnering with local organisations we build and promote an inclusive world in which all people with disabilities enjoy their human rights and achieve their full potential.
About the role
We have a rewarding opportunity for an experienced and passionate Program Coordinator who is keen to join our team in scaling up our work in the Pacific. This key person will be working to scope out new partners and projects, in coordination with the disability movement and other social change organisations in the region. We’re looking for someone who can bring their experience of managing projects in a development context, can think laterally, and link our International Programs work to CBM’s wider work in advocacy and disability inclusion advice in the region.
Working out of the Melbourne office, you’ll be supporting and coordinating existing and emerging Pacific development and humanitarian programming in liaison with relevant field staff and internal stakeholders.
