As the Executive Lead First Peoples’ Program, you will ensure that there are effective linkages between the work of the First Peoples’ Program and the work of other units particularly Program Development and Effectiveness, Public Engagement (Advocacy, Policy and Campaigns, Media and Political Engagement), Fundraising and Resource Growth and the Office of the Chief Executive.
Given Oxfam is a global organisation, you will also play a critical role in linking the work of Oxfam Australia to the international confederation in our work alongside and in allyship with Indigenous communities; sharing our experience and learnings, and supporting racial justice initiatives, and building a network of Indigenous leaders across Oxfam’s programs. You will also contribute more broadly to how we work to bring stakeholders and networks together to advance our mission and bring the Australian experience to bear in the global movement. You will be part of the Executive Leadership Group and will work with other executives across the organisation to support the implementation of the OAU Strategic Framework which has First Peoples’ Justice as a key focus.
