ACFID is proud to announce details of our 2019 National Conference.
Please save the dates of 23 – 24 October 2019 and join us as we examine the dynamics at play in:
“Championing Sustainable Development”
The nature of humanitarian and development work continues to shift and change. Development actors are diversifying, and their impact is growing and helping to shape the development landscape. Geopolitical contestation fuels ongoing debates around the new world order. The accelerating pace of change is testing the capacities of institutions and communities to keep up.
ACFID’s National Conference 2019 seeks to connect delegates with the voices that will provide them with diverse perspectives, insights and actionable strategies. Inviting delegates to consider the changed development landscape in the context of their own programming and partnerships, ACFID Conference 2019 will explore prospects, opportunities and challenges throughout the sector for continued adaptation, resilience and relevance in the decades ahead.
After last year’s success, ACFID Conference 2019 will return to Sydney’s “The Roundhouse” at UNSW – their newly updated and sustainably focused events venue.
We look forward to engaging with the membership over the coming months regarding the development of the ACFID National Conference program and concurrent sessions. As always, we welcome ideas, topics and speaker suggestions at any time!
