ACFID members are invited to provide nominations for the Development Practice Committee (DPC).
The DPC is a long-standing and highly valued expert advisory group for engaging a wide range of development practitioners from across ACFID’s membership. It provides an avenue for committee members to engage with and input to the thematic work of ACFID, develop thought leadership and practice guidance for ACFID’s members, and to deep-dive on policy and practice conversations that impact the development practice work of our membership. It is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a pathway to participate in strategic conversations, and we would encourage all those with an interest to read about these vacancies and the work of the DPC using the links below and consider applying.
Nominations are sought to fill up to 3 current vacancies that would run for a 3-year term from December 2023 until December 2026. For the current vacancies, the DPC is encouraging members with MEL expertise, expertise in climate change programming, and those who have experience working in smaller ACFID Member agencies. Nominations close 20 November 2023. Read more about the vacancies here and the committee Terms of Reference here.
Please include your curriculum vitae and a short summary (no more than one page) addressing the Terms of Reference to the ACFID DPC Secretariat email: [email protected].
