Quaker Service Australia (QSA) is seeking an experienced Accreditation Manager to support our preparations for DFAT re-accreditation under the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP).

QSA is the international development agency of Quakers in Australia. We partner with community-based organisations in Cambodia, Uganda, and India to promote positive peace by tackling inequalities, reducing poverty, improving food and water security, supporting sustainable livelihoods, and building resilience.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in strengthening QSA’s systems and positioning the organisation for long-term impact. Reporting to the Executive Manager, the Accreditation Manager will:

  • Coordinate the drafting and finalisation of QSA’s DFAT Agency Profile (due June 2026).
  • Lead the collection and organisation of evidence for accreditation.
  • Review and update policies, procedures, and tools to ensure DFAT compliance.
  • Support preparation for a Mock-Accreditation Review and the subsequent Organisational Review.
  • Provide targeted support to senior staff and Board in building accreditation readiness.

This is a hands-on role, working closely with QSA’s Executive Director and International Programs Lead along with our small, dedicated team.

About You

We are looking for a skilled person who brings:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting an Australian NGO through DFAT Accreditation.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements for DFAT’s ANCP program.
  • Familiarity with international development standards including the ACFID Code of Conduct
  • Excellent writing, reviewing, policy and documentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

  • Managing DFAT-funded programs (or similar).
  • Working with small to medium-sized NGOs.
  • Tertiary qualifications in international development, organisational development, or related fields.

A Working with Children Check, National Police Check and Counter Terrorism check are required for the successful applicant.  Only people with unrestricted rights to work in Australia will be considered for this position.
