International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to support the development of IPPF’s new Global Income Generation (GIG) Roadmap for 2023 – 2025, specifically to provide expertise on climate and humanitarian funding opportunities.
The new GIG Roadmap will provide strategic direction to IPPF’s income generation and outline potential areas for income growth and diversification across IPPF’s Secretariat.
The consultant will be responsible for identifying new funding opportunities and sources for climate change and the intersection of SRHR and climate, including mapping possible donors, lead partners, and opportunities for consortia engagement. They will also identify humanitarian funding sources for both sudden onset and protracted crises, preparedness efforts, localisation, as well as funding for the development – humanitarian nexus. This includes scoping of humanitarian funding streams (both government and non-government) and assessing IPPF’s eligibility for these streams, such as the new ECHO partnership frameworks. It should also include assessing the humanitarian accountability certifications and/or affiliations that are best suited to IPPF, taking into consideration various donor requirements.
We expect that this assignment would require approximately 10 days over a period of 4-6 weeks between January-February 2023.
