Interplast has been working with national rehabilitation services in Fiji for several years and is currently supporting the development and updating of their patient handout and service information materials.
These materials are referred to as Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials and are being developed to be used as a tool for service providers to support education to service users and their families.
The materials cover a range of physiotherapy and rehabilitation topic areas and Interplast is seeking a consultant with appropriate clinical/technical qualifications to support the drafting process of this content. This will involve the reviewing of similar materials for different settings and recently used training materials (Interplast will share these) in combination with an understanding of Fijian rehabilitation services to draft and layout the materials under specific topic areas.
Interplast will support the consultant to ensure the materials are appropriate for the setting. The successful consultant will work closely with the Interplast program staff to draft the materials. This project has a short time-frame, as outlined in the Terms of Reference, due to the broader contract of services of which it is a part.
