Your impact
This role is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to create, nurture and facilitate deep and sustainable relationships with donors and partners, to achieve income growth in support of Mary MacKillop Today’s objectives.
The role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Fundraising Director is a key member of the senior leadership team. This position provides direct line management to three staff and leads a team of seven employees. Specifically, you will:
Review and deliver MMT’s fundraising, acquisition and retention strategy
In collaboration with the Communications Director, oversee the design, delivery and evaluation of multi-channelled engagement campaigns and events
Build and nurture existing and prospective donor relationships
Develop and implement annual fundraising programs
Develop and present data-driven analysis reporting to Board and Leadership Team
Coach, mentor, support and develop direct reports to achieve financial and non-financial outcomes

What you bring
You will be a highly skilled fundraising professional, adept at developing and maintaining relationships with donors. You have a track record in harnessing support and exceptional presentation and communication skills, along with the ability to think strategically, negotiating the best outcomes.
Your experience will also include:
Proven success with high-value income generation and managing successful income raising strategies
Highly developed relationship management skills with demonstrated experience fostering new relationships
Exceptional leadership qualities with a proven ability to manage, lead and mentor a high-performing, cohesive team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in preparing and confidently presenting detailed proposals
