ACFID's SDG Toolkit

Implementing the SDGs - Applying Systems Thinking and Collaborative Approaches.

The SDGs can be transformational and as such ACFID is focusing on:

  • Thinking systemically
  • Working collaboratively
  • Reporting on impact, and
  • Going beyond business as usual.

This Free Toolkit aims to help you and your staff explore and test systems change and collaborative responses as a way of working differently to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

There are two separate tools:

  • Individual Learner Online Course

This course is developed for strategic thinkers who are tasked with delivering on transformational change around complex problems, including the SDGs across multiple goals.

  • Guide for Workshop Facilitators

This Guide is designed for people who have skills to facilitate group learning but not the knowledge or confidence to deliver content on systems thinking and collaborative responses.

This work is the result of a collaboration between ACFID and Collaboration for Impact and was supported by CSIRO and ACFID's Development Practice Committee. Videos were produced by Working Photos.

If you experience any difficulties using these resources or have any comments, please reach out to [email protected]

Enjoy the learning!
