End : May 3, 2025

Location Details

We’re thrilled to bring Adelaide Walk My Way to Australian Lutheran College (ALC), North Adelaide. This will be one of the final formal events at ALC and a great opportunity to come and farewell the facilities. Be sure to join us for a farewell photo in front of Hebert Hall before walkers depart at 10:00am.
From this great venue you could step out on a gentle 3km walk around North Adelaide OR you might want to challenge yourself to the 10km walk along the beautiful Torrens River. Together we’ll extend ALWS’ legacy of love and care by changing the future for 75,000 vulnerable children impacted by conflict and poverty.

Community Hub

Before and after your walk, you can enjoy the Community Hub… there will be something for the whole family.
Come early to collect your walking kit, enjoy a coffee and some breakfast from the food stalls before you set out on your walk. You might choose to join a guided tour of Australian Lutheran College and explore the historic facilities for a final time. Be sure to join us for a farewell photo in front of Hebert Hall. You might enjoy browsing the many Lutheran stalls while you listen to the live stage performances. After your walk you might treat yourself to a sweet reward from one of our food stalls as you connect with new and old friends.

‘Step out to help a child Step Up!

Funds raised through this event will support vulnerable children impacted by poverty and war – Somalia, South Sudan, Kenya, Burundi, Bangladesh, Nepal and Ukraine.
Just $25 can change the future for a vulnerable child.
For example:
–    $25 can provide a school kit for a refugee child in Kakuma refugee camp, Kenya.
–    $25 can provide 5kg of maize seeds to four families in Burundi so they can provide food for their children.
–    $25 can provide a hygiene kit for a young child in South Sudan.
–    $25 can provide clean drinking water for a month for a child impacted by war in Ukraine.
–    $25 can provide emergency food assistance for school children in Bangladesh.
–    $25 can provide school kits for children affected by floods in Nepal.
–    $25 can provide one month’s porridge ration for a family in Somalia.
Join us on Saturday 3 May as we step out so that a child can step up!
